Alfa SZ. Based on the 75/Milano floor pan and mechanicals. Looks a little odd but I would have one any day.

Boston's own Herb Chambers owns this Bugatti Veyron. A fine, fine body. The car is pretty cool too.

I could be wrong, but that looks like a R.I. dealer plate. There are a couple of Herb Chambers in Providence.

The current Giulietta "one of alfas entry cars" will never be seen in the states if alfa returns there. All front wheel drive alfas are going out of production and made in rear wheel drive only.

Hello, everybody.

I'm a new member here at bikeforums. but aside from wanting to get back into cycling, one of my passions is photography, and one of my favorite subjects to photograph is vintage/muscle cars.

Here are a few of mine. If you'd like to see more, let me know. I have a lot of them.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the invite to post more photos.

Hold onto your hats...

Lamborghini and Ford GT warning ahead!

For those interested in the technical details, all photos were taken with a Pentax camera, using a Pentax DA70MM 2.4 lens.

This lens produces great results, as you can see.

For the last three vintage cars, I used the split toning effect in Lightroom to give a sepia effect, and pushed the clarity all the way to soft focus to try to give an old look to the photos.

I'm glad you're enjoying them.

More to come.

Welcome to Foo, C_o_L ! Nice pics. I like the sharp clear pics more than the sepia soft focus ones, esp for old hot rods and rat rods where the beauty is in the details that the owner used to make the car his or her own. Sepia loses that.

+1000

Sepia is just a metaphor for nostalgia, an unpleasant one at that. Paul Simon put it well.

"Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world’s
A sunny day, oh yeah."

Thanks for your feedback, jsharr, and Artkansas; this is what I want to hear.

When I show sepia/soft focus shots to others, the split is about 50/50.

Some say the photos look soft and dreamy, while others just don't like the look.

I'll post the sepia shots as regular photos, and some others later; have to go now.

Thanks again.
