I think the wagon conversion could have been designed better, but I kind of love this old hunk of junk. Would DD.

Yes it killed Juliette Binoche's family in Blue but I still think it's a great look sedan.

They were nice cars back in the early 90's competing well in Europe with Mercedes and BMW and better looking than the 166 that replaced it.

The 164 body shape was also used for the Procar, a proposed new race series. Alfa was the first to build a V10 engine to be used by the Ligier F1 team but the deal fell through so ended up in the Procar.
The series never started because none of the other manufactures would take a risk on them. Being an F1 car with a sedan body shape they were to dangerous, faster than a F1 car in a straight line but with no down force!

This is the Group C car Alfa developed in the late 80's but it was never raced and because Alfa spent so much time working on it they neglected there Indy Car clients then dropped out of the series. It was also developed with the 3.5 litre V10 that ended up in the Procar.

I've only seen one of these in my lifetime. It was on display at the Museum of Transportation, in Brookline, MA.
Preston Tucker really did have a better idea. It's a shame the big three crushed him, simply for having a better idea.
The Engine could be changed in 15 minutes?

Well, hanging the engine out behind the rear axle isn't a really good idea. It took Porsche 30 years to tame the oversteer in the 911.

Resto-mod '67 Camaro, LS7 engine, corvette frame. Personally I think that matte black thing is played out, but it suits this car.

Poppycock. It was the perfect combination, beautiful and easy to work on.

That is a 3D render. It's not a real car. Might be based on one but that's just cg
