I recall (from my days committing mechanical malpractice on VW's) that there was Karmann Ghia convertible made into a Cat 5 Baja racer. Essentially a tube frame with a couple fenders. It looked pretty cool- I wish I could find pictures.

'64 Skylark with a 455. Kind of plain, but I'm a sucker for a big pillarless coupe, especially with a big block.

Sweet Sleeper. In college we used one for a movie, I doubt that it had a 455, but it idled at 25-30mph going up hill.

Here are a couple of pics of my 91 Jag. These were taken just before we sold our home in Maine and headed to FL. It broke my heart to have to sell the car. But fixing and running a Jag V-12 on a retired teacher salary just didn't work. Anyway it was a great running car. Still have the Rialta in the background as I haven't found any other motorhome that looks, drives, or can go places like it.

The only black MC12

And I think a lot of people don't like these, but I think they're the bee's knees. Jensen Interceptor, specifically an FF.
I had a 71 MKII. It was a super car and enjoyed the American 440 drive train. But typical of that British Auto build period, it rarely was without an electrical problem and finally the thin worm got the best of it. Still it was a very interesting motorcar. Thanks for posting. Oh and I currently have a smart 451 carbio… great transportation to the local rail trail.

Some stunning images come up in a google search for these cars. ATS also run a F1 team during the 80's
