That was a primitive side valve??
It looks just about 1960?
It is VINTAGE in the picture-the car behind it-modern looking?

Wow by 1960 some Chrysler Dodge BIG BLOCKS OHV would have claimed 300 hp- can't imagine a 1959 side valve claiming more than 190 hp
There was a early HEMI I think-not the 426-some earlier one? Maybe it was a ringer motor like the 426 hemi-very very few people actually sprang for the HEMI- I bet 100 383 440's were sold for every 426 Hemi-it was an $1100 option in 1970-when some Plymouths were still around $3500-or less.

That Royal-LOOKS just like a USA car of that vintage-same general impression-was it the same body as the USA car of that vintage?
What year is it?

Ha us aussies are not so special after all. The aussie Royal was an old Plymouth with a side valve 6 cylinder "V8's were current for the time"and there's never been a car with big blocks here. Wiki says they were sold here 57 to 63 but I'm suspicious of that because the Valiant replaced it in 1960 and the Royal became a dinosaur overnight.

Ahh-yeah it looked like a USA-E-IN car.
Sidevalve V-6?? Yikes maybe 120 hp-on a good day?
I saw MAD MAX- I know you Aussie were/are power hp torque mad- just like USA-E-INS-
and I remember seeing the sign in the window of that shop-in MAD MAX (or maybe the earlier one)
with the old hot rod saying "How fast do you want to go-How much money do you have?" or something like that
$$ equals speed!

BENZFANATIC- Porche actually SOLD a Porche with that UGLY HORRIBLE "color" pea free puke?? What was that-mid 1970's-I had a LIME YELLOW GREEN Toyota truck-and they were many ugly tan brown cars in that era?
Puke pea green?? WOW!!
Not even OD green-?? Close but not quite.

Nice car of course-but that has nothing to do with the color-
BLACK BRIGHT WHITE RED maybe blue BUT PUKE GREEN ALMOST OD??
Should be a crime-but interesting period piece in terms of color. "earth tone" or some such

I actually like the colour, suits the vintage of the car well and the uncomplicated clean lines. Wheels fit the car well too.

Hmmm what year is that Porche? Colors remind me of mid 1970's-maybe to early 1980's?
What color did the Africa Corp use?? A bit more tan-or maybe something like that??
Maybe it would grow on me
BUT if I could afford to ONLY own one Porche- I don't think I could bring myself to waste it on that color?
I actually like WHITE- great in our hot sunny climate-NOLA
Black LOOKS great on the showroom-but 10 seconds aftert you drive it off the lot it has picked up some tiny defect that just stands out on black
And BLACK- like our 2006 Prius-hotter than Hades 8 months a year
The FRIDGE WHITE 1998 Suburban- MUCH COOLER- good thing since cooling 150 cubic feet-with all that glass- mpg is "challenging" enough.

Yeah if I had a fleet of Porche-I could live with that color-but just one??
