3882 brings to mind the Volvo P1800ES sports wagon Volvo P1800 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'The all-glass rear hatch of the ES-model (which got it the German nickname Schneewittchensarg - Snow White's Coffin'

Or as one of my friends who Owned one and often took advantage of Montana's open ended Basic Speed law..
called it the Speedy Tractor .

And on the other side of the pond, what is arguably world's first SUV, the 1940 American Bantam Roadster

Examples of this were loaned to the military, and soon after the first jeeps were created using American Bantam parts.

Could be the wide wheels but the American Bantam looks tough.

No coincidence that topolino translates to "little mouse". Only reason I know that is cuz I have Topolino wheels on my Waterford...very lightweight and very tough. I once t-boned a muskrat--up and over at ~33mph. No harm to me or the wheels. However, the muskrat probably had a belly ache for a while.

And the MM stands for Mille Miglia for those who are wondering, but I suspect fietsbob was being a bit tongue in cheek.

This should make jbchybridrider happy.

Alfa Romeo re-entering U.S. market in June.

I'm sure they'll give it a low compression engine or massive bumpers or something to ruin it.

The limited numbers ensure instant classic status that means I can only ever afford a thrashed and smashed one.

Don't you know that's illegal on alfa's.

Here's a class record lap of the Nurburgring, I think I would soil my panties in the passenger seat.
