I can already afford the damned car...it's just that a damned car.
However, there's still the case of what to do for the weekend.

Oh yes, I've seen your Veyron in front of the Five Points station. Is this it by any chance?

While I think the veyron is beautifully engineered, it's not a car I consider beautiful.
In fact, I'm not a huge car nut....though I wouldn't mind having a 1972 Vette 454 with factory installed 6 pack, in midnight metal flake blue with a white leather interior.

Not exactly what you are looking for but pretty close and it's for sale @ $130k Saw it at the dealership near 285 and 85, and it's a beaut.

I do not think that was an option. I believe that the tri power only came on the 427 engine in 67-69. It was never offered on the 454 at all.

That doesn't mean there aren't 534 of them surviving today. Have you looked on ebay for one?

I didn't like the veyron until I saw it in person. It's a massive beast that sits almost unfathomably low to the ground. I wouldn't consider it beautiful, but it's definitely worthy of the thread.

And I'll bite, I believe the word you're looking for is ssssssssymbolism.

Lately these Amazon long roofs have been at the top of my want list. And this one is on top of said list.
