I can't get past that bucktoothed smiling grill on the Fisker.
It looks like a bad body kit on a Corvette.

This is delightful.

Earlier today, my mind suddenly turned to the Previa All-Trac, which quickly led to me picturing in my mind one done up pretty much just like this one. Roof rack, brush bars, offroad/rally lights, slight suspension lift, slightly meaty tires. Mmmm.

Send that title to me my friend. I have a soft spot in my heart for Jags.

Reposted for awesomeness. I am in love with this car.

... I pulled up to a Vanagon camper (non-Synchro) at a couple of lights yesterday. I thought of getting the guy to lower his window so I could ask him for his van.

Also, is that a derelict Aussie Falcon Ranchero? Can you send that to me? I think that will buff right out.

Yup, a little sheet metal around the fender there and some paint... any old engine will do... oh yeah. I have almost as much of a crush on Australian Utes as I do on 4WD vans.

On Sunday's ride the group is stopped at a light as we're about to go under the highway. I look over as one of these pulls up along side.

I think my saddle was higher than the roof line.

And that's the problem with todays supercars. I think that's a Mclaren, but it could just as easily be a Ferrari. The gods of aerodynamics have made them all look the same.

I feel like the mustang II and 3rd gen mustangs should be on that list. There was an 85 hp I4 3rd gen mustang. That's almost old beetle territory.

And agreed with buddha. Aerodynamics have massively limited what they can do with designs, especially since the super cars of today are often aiming for top speeds of 250+!

SWEET!

Last REAL factory 4x4 van with low range available in the US was the Toyota Van wagon. We didnt get the Mitsu 4x4 here. Basically we havent had a true factory 4x4 van here since the 80's. Thought about picking up a second Previa (think you guys call it a Estima or Tarago) but a AWD and swapping out the 4x4 transfercase from a HiLux to make a decent off road capable camper but no time or funds.
Need to check out http://www.expeditionportal.com if you are not already there.

We get Cruisers just not diesel ones. In fact Toyota hasn't sold a Diesel here since 85. We didnt get the 70 series or 45's but got the rest. We are starting to see some Gray markets though. I'd like to sell my 86 4Runner (Surf) and get a 80 series with the factory lockers. Over here though they were all dressed out with leather interior full power and had a $50k us price tag. Clean 80's are still fetching $7k and 60's are going through the roof! Also the ones here get a hatch instead of the 60/40 rear doors. Prefer the doors if they were available.

Ex Wife is well armed. I'm not going there and I dont think you make it up the mile long dirt Driveway without getting shot at by her or her relatives but if you're feeling lucky her property backs up to the Bill Elliots property in Dawsonville. Don't say I didnt warn you. LOL

How do I make them not show up as thumbnails? Do I have to upload them to flickr?

[mod edit] One has to click on the attachments, copy the url of the large image and then go back and edit your post with the image url wrapped in [img] tags.

So I can waltz into my Toyota dealer and say "psst... can I order me a cruiser?" Hmmm... bet Mrs. A wouldn't like that very much.

Order...hell they are likely to have it sitting on the lot.
http://www.toyota.com/landcruiser/ They are pretty well all loaded. About the only difference is the color.
Or you can get one with a "L" in the grill. http://www.lexus.com/models/LX/

Gimme one of those, with one of these on a rack:

And I will be one very happy camper...

How about a Streamliner Motorcycle to mix things up?

Bob is friends with my parents. They use to ride together with the Highwaymen MC Detroit back before they were a Gang. Dottie Robinson was also somebody my parents knew.

Mom sent me the link last night. Bob is putting it back together and plans to make another Bonneville run.
