Number 1 is the 1934 Ford Model 40 Speedster, check the link for Jay Leno's coverage .

Number 2 is the 1949 Belanger Special with a 325 hp, 270.2 cu. in. Offenhauser engine.

Number 3 may be what was known as a Fronty Ford. A Model T based race car, with Frontenac aftermarket engine modifications. Frontenac was a company started by Louis Chevrolet and changed its name after he left. Like a hot rod, there was no standard look for a Fronty Ford.

Yep, AMC really tried to contend in the muscle car game.

I came across this Tumblr page and felt this might be a good thread for it.

http://carinteriors.tumblr.com/

Of course, I don't like all of the pictures posted, but there are some really nice ones!

That's a very cool little number! There's a c.1968 Monte Carlo(96) that lives about a half mile from me. In the summertime it's often parked outside the shed, and the best part: It's in rally drag with amber paint, number spots, stripes,Cibies, and sitting on what look like Ronal wheels. The owner also keeps a '48 Chevrolet sedan, a Cal-Look bug and a nice 300TD.

Made from a Corvair van, I think. The Corvair pickup was never a crewcab.

I like number 1 best, a true horseless carriage that one.

Nearly bought one the same as pic 11 in mint condition a few months ago for a nice price but it wasn't to be!

You're better off, the 140 has some heinous maintenance and repair costs.

The Mythbusters discovered that putting a golf-ball dimple finish on a car improved fuel mileage 11%.

IIRC, the rampside pickup was much more common, but the crewcab was a production vehicle. Only a couple thousand were built.
