speedvision had a ton of those videos.. Pretty much did a highlight video after every rally, all of them with absolutely stunning camera work. I'll eventually make it to a WRC event, if i have the chance, it will be here (catalunya)

On a side note, i think the 206 was the nicest wrc car out there...

One of my first cars was an MG TC, 1947 model.

It looked like this, but was British Racing green.

Yep, the MG TC was a nice one. Saw one tooling around the other day.

The VW kit car models, uh... not so much.

Spotted a fun TC at a British car show a few years back:

I loved everything about my little TC except for the rotten electrical system from Lucas. I was sure fun driving with my dog (A Gordon Setter) in the car though. It was right hand drive and I had to take the dog to the vet. I sure got some funny looks going down the road.

I'm not sure whether to point out the redundancy of that statement, or ask if you're being figurative or literal.

    Hit the wrong blasted button!

Guy walks into the MG Garage and tells the mechanic that every time he beeps his horn, the windshield wipers come on and every time he puts on the headlights, the horn sounds.

The mechanic scratches his head a minute and says, as he crawls under the dash, "Alright Mate, sounds like a short in the radio!"

Sorry, this isn't a 206, but a 405 T16 at Pikes Peak ; not sure about the who's who or the making of the film, though, because both Ari Vatanen and Bobby Unser are listed at the end.

I think I found the replacement to my stolen Miata.
Another Miata. Same year, color, and trim level as my old one, and with less comparable miles than mine would have had.
They are asking a reasonable price, $7K. I very well might go for it.

My old car, which I thought was quite loverly.

Get it. You might be like me and will only find a satisfactory replacement by getting another of the same car.

I had to replace my very first car, an '86 Civic DX hatch, after it got totaled by a driver running a red light. On the last day of the week of using a rental, the new classified ads came out in the local paper, and there it was -- a red '86 Civic Si hatch, about the same mileage, and within the amount of cash I had gotten as a settlement for the deceased hatchie. I think I called its owners at 7 AM, and by the time I visited to see it at 10, three other people had called, too. I got dibs since I was first, and I had it at home that afternoon.

You could have simply said, "Guy walks into an MG garage..." and fellow victims.. I mean, MG fans.. will start laughing.

Made a phone call this afternoon.
Headed to look at it this evening. It's only about 20 mins down the road.
