Alfa Sprint.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________

Pretty to me, don't know about other people This is the 1500cc 8v boxer engine I refurbished for my Sprint It looked very sad before covered rat nests & poop & dirt for a decade and a half. There's still a hole chewed out by a rat in the distributor cap I glued up (wont affect it's running)

It's a grunty little engine that'll make do till I rebuild a spare 1700cc 16v quad cam engine I used to rebuild another 16v that I just put in my alfa 33.

And this is an '86 Targa I saw in Traverse City at the Right Brain Brewery after the Porsche Parade the other day. Unfortunately it's the only stationary one I saw, so the only pic I have. And the only reason I know it's an '86 is the license plate said so. Edit: Don't know how it got sideways... If you click the link it should be right side up.

I thought I recognized those mountains. Palm Springs.

If anyone is interested, that photo is one of 9168 Beautiful Car photos shot by John Wiley. That's 92 pages of beautiful cars.

The National Street Rod Association is in town this weekend. Mostly the "normal" street rod stuff, but this caught my eye:

My family would recognize the trailer. It's a 1947 Kit Mfg. teardrop, just like the one we used to tow with the Volvo. This one is rebuilt and polished to a fare-thee-well. Really shiny. The car was cool, too.

When was the last time you saw a 1946-47 Hudson Super Six pickup truck?

I LOVE those. Super rare, but I'd rock the heck out of that, just as it stands.
