where to go after Netscape Composer?

Hey folks can anyone recommend a good WYSIWYG HTML editor to use?

I take care of one or two web pages at work, would prefer something fast and easy as opposed to text based. Composer just isn't happening anymore (keeps closing down 10-30 seconds after i open a file). I figured I should perhaps re-install but I can't even find a download at his point...

    Netscape Compuser? Yack.

What kind of site are you making? Depending on how WYSI you are, Dreamweaver FTW.

Dreamweaver comes to mind. Word 2007 seems to be able to edit clean HTML as well. I'm sure OpenOffice Write can do the same.

I currently am using Yahoo's site editor for basic stuff.

It's not quite WYSIWYG but has some nifty features, and it's careware.

*edit: That Nvu is pretty cool though. Thanks for the link.

Thanks all - yeah, I was shocked to see Composer last year when I took over for someone that was leaving....it's basically just an updates page on our web site (I need to revise every so often), and there are little icons and such that are just a little easier with a visual cheat.

We might be able to buy Dreamweaver....I'll try the nvudev - thanks again!

Dreamweaver all the way. As you learn more and more about web-design and scripting, you'll move from package to package that has the capabilities you need. You'll end up with Dreamweaver. So just get that from the beginning and you'll only have to learn one software package.

Dreamweaver worked out really nicely - thanks again!

But turns out we'll be going another way as our website is getting a total revamp - just not sure exactly when that will be (hopefully before my DrmWvr trial is over). I feel lazy using a wysiwyg but I only update things a few times a month.
