I realize that the boy is in pain and suffering, but is it really all that insensitive to be laughing my ass off? I can't seem to stop laughing, but I am not a bad guy.

It's clearly not broken. Look at the bend, it's smack in the middle of the elbow, only bent the wrong way. As Ricohman stated, this is a deliberate dislocation, staged for the camera. Looks dramatic but not really. I had a friend could dislocate his shoulders whenever the mood took him and it took some getting used to the sight of it. I believe the American expression is 'hinky'?

Same here i started giggling as he began crying, i kind of doubt that he was strong enough to break it, more likely he slightly dislocated the elbow *accidentally* since he didnt seem to expect that outcome.

Perhaps this boy could willingly dislocate his elbow. What if in all the excitement and nervousness at being filmed that he smacked the joint on his knee a little too hard, and caused some injury, and some serious pain? Am I wrong to laugh then?

I'm almost positive it's staged or fake. And by staged I mean the boy has an ability to do that.

Isn't that what Mel Gibson did in the first 'Lethal Weapon' movie?

Didn't want to watch the video, but I accidentally dislocated my older daughter's elbow when she was 2-3 years old by trying to lift her off the ground by her wrists. I believe the doctor called it "nursemaid's elbow" and gave us a little maneuver to reverse it. Kid went from screaming bloody murder to "lift me up again, daddy!" in about 2 minutes.

Maybe I'm just skeptical here but I don't think he broke it. To me it looks like after the knee hit it, he held his arm up and bent it at the elbow (the way it's supposed to bend), not against the natural bend of the arm. The vid quality does not show detail so you don't know if the underside of his arm is up or down....

AND -

If he really broke it, then why is he holding his shoulder, bending back, and not supporting the arm by the wrist? I would think holding the shoulder would make it hurt more. And leaning forward might not put as much pressure on it.

Just sayin'.

Relocating anything that has been dislocated really hurts... but feels so much better afterwards.

I've relocated my own shoulder, knee, fingers, and a few toes but would never willingly dislocate something.

The scream doesn't even seem real. It's just a yell, and the video cuts off..
