"the city that never sleeps" - my Āss... :P -?
hello late nite foo ppl of NYC..
does anyone have any suggestion for how to kill a couple hours after hours in NYC? .. I missed the last bus in Chinatown by like a hour.. and so I'm making my way uptown looking for something to do until the morning. Right now it's a little after 1 am - and everything is closed
. Yes, everything is closed, the streets are empty... I even wasted almost an hour in the subway waiting to catch a 6 train uptown - and all that ever came was some construction train carrying a bunch of rails and stuff to fix the tracks. The subway stops running in NYC (?) ..
I'm bored.. and I'm in NYC. This isn't supposed to happen?
So far I've made my way uptown to the WTC site, and I've finally found a place that's open - the McD's on Lafayette st (btw..their coffee tastes like burnt charcoal-filtered water, don't come here). ..
Anyways... as I mentioned, I'm headed uptown looking for ways to kill a couple hours until daybreak. oh, yeah.. and I'm on a beggars budget - so I'm afraid nite-clubs with dbl-digit cover charges are out of the question. :
So, anyone have ideas? If so they will be much appreciated
.. (I'll be checking back at the next available opportunity).
