Road rash (mostly) heals. That damage to the strap and case are permanent!

edit; actually, I bet the case can be cleaned up.

He can fly OK on visual flight rules in perfect weather but he can't think and fly.

Did you see him on Leno wearing his Qantas Captain's uniform and seriously claiming he is a Qantas Captain qualified B747 pilot? My wife always says, "Travolta wants to be you." I say, "No, sweetie, he wants to be you" (She also flies 747's) ... and actually my Travolta comment is more apropos than hers ...

Rant over and I still like Breitlings.
You and your wife both fly 747's ? Very impressive! I thought I was something pioloting my 1967 piper colt..

I've got to say 431 looks atrocious in a comical sort of way.
435 is more my style, but doesn't the rubber strap disintegrate after a while? The one on my Seiko did.
The collection on 436 reeks of overkill: I couldn't feel at peace having so many watches lying around...

I've worked in the semi-conductor industry for nearly 30 years and can't wear a watch in the FAB and have therefore developed a habit of NOT wearing a watch. If I need to know the time more accurately than I can guestimate I have my cell phone! I do have a nearly 40 year old Seiko that still works if I give it a shake but I no longer wear a watch so ...

I'd kill for a Panerai. Those are the most beautiful watches.

1963 first King Seiko, it's on a different strap now, still keeps pretty good time but I only wear it as a dress watch.

I've wanted a Luminor Base for a couple years now. Too bad they cost a few times what I'd pay for one.
