My one and only time piece. Keeps time in every time zone I travel to, automatically updates for daylight savings time and is very multifunctional

Both of my watches had the same band. My Explorer II had afold over clasp as well. Doesn't even come close to the Breitiling bracelet but that is common knowledge. Don't get me wrong, fine watch and holds its value better than my Breitling will, but call a duck a duck.

Mine is similar to the picture below and I wear that watch all the time, unless I'm in the pool, shower or sleeping.

Rolex makes their own movements, but the Valjoux 7750 in my Breitling which is also outsourced is just as good or better than anything rolex makes. Rolex bracelets suck, I owned 2 and they feel and sound like a tin can.
But the watch LOOKS cool. What else matters? It's a friggin WATCH. It's JEWELRY.

Watches and bikes, the only two things I piss money away on (well, that plus iPods and digicams).

My modest bunch includes two TAG SE/L, an Omega Dynamic, and Omega Seamaster Chrono, a Fortis Flieger Chrono PVD, two Baume et Mercier Capeland Chronos, a Zenith Class Chrono and a Bell & Ross Vintange 126 Chrono. Also a nice little Baume et Mercier Chrono from the early 1950s.

Here are a couple of pix.

Nice watches everyone! Watch collecting and wearing has been a sickness for me for over 20 years and I am not getting any better.

I like the look of the NATO straps on Subs in photos, but its a pain in real life and the strap looks like crap after a month of wearing. I actually wore one for a month.

Dude, why do you think the friggin watch only has ONE BUTTON? That operates everything. On a good day, I can figure it out too.

Please remember that all statements unless quoted, are strictly my opinion of what happened. That there are as many opinions as there are spectators attending. I just choose to publish mine on this forum. And would NEVER intend to purposely hurt or discredit any other cyclist.... With that said... HTFU!

I just got my first decent watch as a wedding present from my wife. It's by far the nicest watch I've ever owned. Not nearly as expensive as most of the watches posted, but nonetheless a nice watch.
Pulling the trigger as often as possible.

My everyday is a TAG Heuer Carrera Twin-Time Automatic. I have a Raymond Weil Othello dress watch.

I also have about 40 vintage watches including Bulova, Benrus, Caravelle, Elgin, Ebel, Helbros, Seiko, Waltham, Wittnauer, Washington, and a few others. Most are from the 40s - 50s. My oldest is from 1902, a converted pocket watch. All of these I bought in non-running condition and repaired them myself. I was going to move into higher dollar vintage stuff, but I just don't have time for all of my hobbies. I used to wear the vintage watches in rotation every day. I may have to get them out and crank them up.

    Nice pics!!!!

My next new purchase will either be an IWC or Zenith.

OK, do you prefer it this way? "Expensive watches are even less practical than a $200 carbon fiber floor pump."
