Question about Canadian pharmacies...

I am in between school and job right now, and thanks to the merciless American healthcare system, I've been cut off of my parent's healthcare coverage. I am going up to Canada somewhat soon, and I am going to need at some point soon to buy new asthma and allergy medication (prescribed), before any of the jobs I am interview for would kick in their health insurance. So I am seeing I can get 90 days supply of both medications at online pharmacies that kinda sketch me out for 150, whereas in the US 30 days costs 250 if you're uninsured. Does anyone know if prices will be comparable at a physical pharmacy in Canada, or are medications online cheaper by virtue of being online?
Thanks for the help

Wouldn't hurt to give a drug store a call before making the trip. Here in Canada, the most common drug store chain is Shopper's Drug Mart.
