I thought I was going...

to cross over this morning.

Long story short, I woke feeling like crap, eventually made it to the couch and was holding my partner. I felt this pull, it wasn't painful or threatening... Just like a magnet pulling on steel. I held on tight to my partner and shouted, "No! I'm not ready to go, I want to stay for a while longer!" the feeling of being drawn left me, but I also had the distinct impression that the next time it came, I'd have to go.

I told my partner the next time it came, I'd kiss her and say farewell.

I've spent most of the day coming in and out of awareness. I'm having a rather lucid spell so I thought I'd post and thank you all for your love and support. It's really great to know you all!

Thank you for being a part of BF and entering into our lives, Stacey. Although it's through the internet, you are part of our family - an integral part of us.

You know how I feel about your accomplishments in your life and finally being happy. I will always respect you for loving yourself enough to allow yourself that happiness. Your dreams have come true, Stacey. And just like Kiwi, who always wanted to achieve his dream, you are making your flight. Be free, Stacey and remember that I love you and I will see you later in a different world, my sister. ((hugs))

It's been fun knowin ya stacey. Real fun. You've given me an awful lot of valuable information too. I do look forward to meeting you one day, in the next world if it just can't happen in this one.

I see you're online, now- what a relief! I want to thank you for all the kind words- I'm simply at a loss for many myself here today, but wanted to let you know how you've touched me in even the short time I've known you around here- I've got respect and admiration for you beyond words, and have found just a little more inspiration and happiness in this world.

I wish you all the peace and comfort this world can offer you and happiness in the one in which you will enter. Our world is better for having you in it and will be diminished by your passing.

Thank you for being a true, honest and sincere friend, even if we never met face to face.

Good to hear from you, Stacey. Thank you again for being a part of this place, and by "this place," I'm referring both to the physical and the virtual.

Whatever is on its way for you, whenever it comes, I hope it's peaceful and with as little pain as possible.

I've read this several times during this afternoon, and never quite known how to reply. I have, however, gotten a lump in my throat and teared up each time I read it. Thanks for all that you have given us, and I wish you the best; you deserve nothing less than that. Rest assured that you have made an impact on many people, in many ways.

love ya Stacey. you will ride with me each and every day that i ride. especially on Red. Red was finished with you in mind - knowing how you loved your Lotus, i'll think of you each time i take her out. and, should we meet in another time/place...we'll go for a ride together on our steel steeds.
skiffrun: Enjoy the ride. Ride for the enjoyment.

I wish I had some wise or deep thoughts to share. It is always so hard to say what is in your heart. The honesty and humor you have shared has colored the tapestries of many here. Thank you for sharing with us the gift of you.

I won't say goodbye but rather until we meet again. Our love is with you, our hearts are with you, and our prayers are with you.

You've been an incredible inspiration to everyone here and have shown me how strong a person can be despite all odds - hard to find the words to say thank you for that.

I couldn't find any good sick and funny videos for you to post one last time but hopefully this narcoleptic cat will get at least a smirk. I always loved the fact that if I found something gold that couldn't be posted the first person I'd think of and send to was you. I always will.

I have no idea what your history is, or what ails you, or any of that, but you seem to be quite loved by fellow BF'ers. And for that alone, I'm glad you're still here. Each and every one of us should have a chance to ride with ya.

Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.

Woah, this was so crazy to read. All I say is that when it comes, I hope you have no fear.
You've been an awesome part of this forum and there will be a void that not just any smart ass can fill.
Take care. Hope to talk to you some more.
