That is one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth...

When the boy was little we were at Lake Louise and he looked at the sign that said coffee shop (with an arrow), looked to his right and said... "that is the BIGGEST coffee shop I have EVER seen !"

He was looking at the Chateau.

The actual time in Lake Louise will be short. I'm taking my son and possibly my daughter up Fairview. After that I'm heading to Lake O'Hara. The plan is to climb Mt. Victoria. That's the peak in the middle of the picture. The approach is from the back side and up through abbot pass - just off to the left of the picture.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a day earlier than most of our group - some are planning on summiting Mt. Victoria, and then coming down on th Lake Louise side.
