clouds are hard to do, I know that- I think yours are a bit dark, which is making them look heavy and stormy rather than light and fluffy. Bringing out some highlights and whiter whites might help.

looks like you used some greens for shadows? What I'm seeing is that it's not a natural reflection against a blue sky.

what kind of paint are you using?

i'm using the series 1 windsor newton paints. that's a combination of french ultramarine blue, viridian green, lemon yellow, and titanium white. i'm not sure how to get the whites any whiter. i may lighten them up a bit, but maybe not as the storminess may work for me. (i'm not done with it. i have a little surprise planned )

what did you use to paint it?
Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

I like your clouds. It has a very stormy, moody feel like it which seems to be in contrast to the image you used to paint from. Is that in Utah?

    Nice painting, I dig.

My response would have been something along the lines of: "Does your bike have computer controlled suspension? Then shut your piehole, this baby is from the future!"

I like it! It kinda reminds me of my home planet.

Nice sky, I like the dramatic feeling I get from it.

Very nice. I'm always envious of those who can paint well. I've always been able to draw okay, but I couldn't paint a picture to save my life.
