Every once in a while, I suffer from not being able to sleep. The last several days have been this way. It's 4:45 a.m., and I've been up all night again. It's driving me nuts. I'm tired during the day, but I can't sleep comfortably for longer than an hour or so at a time during the night. The time passes so slowly in the middle of the night. My wife is irritated with me for not being able to sleep. At least the dawn is coming soon, and I'll be able to rest comfortably in a coffin filled with my native soil. So, anybody got a solution?
Come to think of it, over the last several days, I've been riding my bike less than normal. I'll try an experiment tonight, and I'll make sure I get plenty of exercise today. I finally got to sleep around 6:00 this morning for an hour or so. Woke up groggy. Feeling blah. Joints hurt. Legs feel like lead.
I'm hesitant to take a pill to go to sleep, but I may try it if this keeps up. It's hard to function properly if you haven't slept.
