Oh..my...Gosh... That...Halftime...Superbowl...Show...

I had to comment- I screamed for a full 5 minutes with my sister-in-law when Justin T. ripped the cloth off Janet J's boob. That had to be the illest, dopest, deffest Superbowl halftime I've ever seen, fershizzle...

Doods, I don't even think I'm going to ever get that image out of my mind...

Ah.. mah...Gaaad...

My wife just told me (imagine me on BF instead of watching the game, look what I missed.)

I figure, hey, you've got your big shot on the Superbowl half-time show, so you go all out to grab as much publicity as possible and be talked about for the next few weeks.

What's really amazing is how short a time it took for a video clip to get posted to more than a dozen websites... about 15 mins. I didn't see it when it happened (not watching the Superbowl) but someone mentioned the URL for the clip on an IRC channel I was monitoring.

Publicity or no, it was some mind-blowing action on network television. That, and the fact that they didn't beep out any of the Kid Rock lyrics, considering all the stuff he was rapping about. But Kid Rock is genius, and I likes my Kid Rock...

So what's the big deal? Are there still people in the world that haven't seen a nipple before?

Actually she was wearing a pastie. Subsequent "analysis" images from the vid-clip reveal that.

blah blah blah...you all bought it HOOK LINE AND SINKER.
I forgot that game was even on. I watched Arsenal beat Man City over bangers and rashers, and black and white puddings with eggs on the side. Washed down with a Guinness...delish!
What were you all talking about again??

Yeah? Well I was... err... cleaning my kitchen. Seriously, I think I was mopping my floor when it happened. Then I glanced over at my IRC window and saw lotsa scroll so I stopped to find out why.

I saw the pasty- she did the Lil' Kim for the halftime show. Still, the show was just awesome, and we were all hi-fiving each other and laughing so hard I think I spit my drink out all over the dishes I'd just washed! It was good shizzle.

I'm not one for football, but I do like Nelly, Kid Rock, and I love Janet, so when I heard she was headlining the halftime show, I skee-daddled on over to the tv when my sister-in-law announced the show was about to start. I just really thought it was a great show, and the ending was great! I swear, even I wanted a piece of Janet after that!

That's something that's always baffled me about censorship. Why is a naked breast 'rude', but one where the nipple is covered by a few square millimetres of tinfoil, but is otherwise naked considered 'clean'?

You got me... but then again, people get all uppity about mothers breast-feeding their children in public too.

Personally, I'd had enough of the halftime show when the writhing, half-naked men accompanied Janet's first number - left the room and didn't return until the game was ready to go again.

BTW - anybody else watch any of this "entertainment" through a new set of lenses, so to speak, since 9/11? Sometimes when I see stuff this over the top in prime time, I at least wonder what the Arab or Muslim world thinks about our mass entertainment. Part of me can see why they'd be appalled, too.

Well... it could have been worse- some lesbian tongue-kiss displayed prominently on television and subsequently beamed in photographs around the world for weeks after, then invited on Larry King Live to discuss world events....

Haha..I was gonna slam the halftime show. I find it a total waste of time and this one proved no different to me. I ended up turning off the game to watch the surreal life (yep I found that show more interesting) and game back partway through the 3rd.

Now...tongue kissing lesbians

The game kicked though. Damn good football in the end

CBS Apologizes for Jackson's Exposure

NEW YORK - CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake (news) tore off part of Janet Jackson (news)'s top, exposing her breast.

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show," Joe Browne, NFL executive vice president, said. "They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show.

"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

MTV issued a contrite statement, saying the incident was "unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional."
