It doesn't say anything about what brand of batteries are OK to throw, however.

Back in 2002 when the Buccanner's wiped the floor with the Eagles to win the Super Bowl, it was pure bliss to see the Eagle fans so peeod!

Best couple days in my life as a football fan.

I havent seen a football game in 8 years but when I was younger
I went to a lot of Eagles games 'cuz I got the less desirable games
from a season ticket holder. In the 80's it was fun, but in the 90's
it got out of control. The 700 level mentality is scum of the league.

It's pronounced "Iggles."

Only way to curtail excessively bad fan behavior (anywhere, not just Philly) is to start having the home team forfeit a few for failure to police the fans.

no love for Santa. I don't believe they built a jail in the new stadium. Eagle Fans must be turning over a new leaf.

They act so unruly so people don't focus on their crack-smoking coach and his family.

An interesting note about the fan code of conduct, is that the owner of seats is responsible for the behavior of the fans in his seats. Meaning that you may to take extra care who you sell a tickets to if you can't make it to a game.

If you lived in a city that never won in any sport you would act like animal as well. Philly's, Eagles, Sixers, Flyers. Which franchise is worse. Tuff call

Hmmph! Won't ever go to another Bills game. Last time I went was several years ago with some of my Jefferson-Smurfit reps from Kansas City (btw I'm a K.C. fan) and so we went there - I had my K.C. jacket on - and since it was wintertime and freezing - had my carhart overhalls on. 1st off my group split up and I looked up at three guys - and some old farts were bopping them on their heads with their coffee thermoses and the people in back and around us were rude. And coming up the stairs we got all sorts of fingers and fists shoved in our faces - and when I went out to the car and took off the carhart overhalls - I had a freaking footprint on my back end.

Went to a couple games in Kansas City and Dallas and never had that kinda junk happen.

ha ha, my Dad is a KC fan and he when he would go KC/Denver games at the old Mile High Stadium he would get paper soaked in who knows what thrown at him along with empty beer cans. Dallas fans are pretty tame and friendly, but I have been to a few games and events where the fans around me have made it miserable.

Can't say where those teams are now, but historically, that is not strictly true - Philly has had some great teams over the years. The real rub is that the teams more often are almost great; there's always some other team that eclipses them. You want pain - be a Sixers fan in the hey day of the Lakers and the Celtics. Or a Phillies fan when the Dodgers were strong.

Basically, you reach a point where you realize that no matter how good the team is, at the end of the day they aren't going to pull it off.

Part of my bachelor party was an Eagles Dallas Monday nighter. I went with a cowboys fan and a redskins fan.

Things didn't get ugly until Aikman threw that late 4th quarter touchdown...

When my best man asked why I had just stolen his cowboy hat, I told him I was willing to give it back if he was willing to leave the Vet in an ambulance.

OTOH, I've been to an Eagles-Skins game at Fed Ex,forgot myself in my excitement and yelled horrible things about the home team and faced no consequences. I couldn't help feeling disappointed in the once proud Skins fans.
