Legal question (bicyclebid contest).

Quick question for all the cycling lawyers out there...

To promote BicycleBid.com, I would like to hold a contest, and give away a nice gift certificate to a high end bike shop.

The idea behind the contest, is list an item, get your name listed once for a drawing. The more unique items you list, the better your chances are for winning.

Basic plan, is to get new members familiar with the site, and a database full of products / auctions for the search engines to eat up. I have noticed that BicycleBid.com ranks very high for most items listed. Of the 300 or so unique visitors a day to the site, 220 - 240 each day are looking at closed auctions.

So, I need to know what type of contest law i need to look into, or how to find a lawyer in my area who can provide me with this type of information. I also need to write up official rules for the contest, and have a few specific items listed in the rules. Such as the value of the gift certificate depends on the number of auctions listed. Can i do that?
