    uTorrent program won't delete grr

I downloaded uTorrent program, and when I uninstalled it, I thought I was done. On the desktop were the installation icon and the program icon, and the program icon was still there. So I tried to delete the icon into the recycle bin, but I got a message saying 'you need to confirm this action' so I was like yeah and a 'windows needs your permission' so i was like yeah, but then I got this box saying to try again, and when I clicked it it just stayed the same. Why won't this stupid program go away. I could open the uTorrent up, and it could function, even though I went to the control panel to uninstall it

When I put that icon in a compressed folder, it went into the recycle bin. but when it's by itself or in a folder, it just won't go in and delete itself. Now I'm paranoid because it's going to hax my comp! What can I do?

run a couple anti-spyware checks in Safe Mode after you update their defs.

maybe you don't have the app you think you downloaded

Also, download and run Ccleaner. It should help find orphaned stuff and destroy it.

I renamed Utorrent to junk, and it deleted, whew! Either way mlts22, that program sounds pretty handy to have. I'll check it out.

I run uTorrent under a virtual machine and VirtualPC 2007, so it won't scrozzle my main system, but I can still get ISOs (last one was ironically a BSD ISO.)
