Really- is that awesome, or what? Check out some old Sly and the Family Stone clips for more.

And just the other night, my kids asked me why any guy would want a perm- I informed them that back in the 70s it was the thing to do. For some people. Kids today...

Well, I remember Sly Stone, I just don't remember Cornelius with it.
Another good one: The Ohio Players.

Sly had his own group (the Family Stone)- he wasn't part of Main Ingredient, AFAIK. But yeah- the Players! Man- that takes me back. I had some shirts with collars like that... They were de rigeur in the disco.

foo

Definition from Wiktionary, a free dictionary

Jump to: navigation, search

[edit] English

[edit] Pronunciation[edit] Noun

foo
  1. (computing) Metasyntactic variable used to stand for some unspecified entity. Compare bar. See Also FUBAR Suppose we have two objects, foo and bar.
  2. (slang) Also foo’. Representation of fool (foolish person), in a Mr. T accent.
EDIT: I should point out that #2 is the only thing I understand...
