A Donnie Darko-esque event today in Las Vegas........

A private airplane crashed into a house today in Las Vegas. Killed three people: two occupants of the house and the pilot.

Crazy.

From what I have heard it made national news.

when they said experimental, I was hoping for an X-plane'isk thing, but it was a kit...
Actually reminds me more of blast from the past.

As an aircraft mechanic, I really hate the term "experimental". It has a completely different meaning to most people than it does to the people in the industry. "Experimental" airplanes are usually designs that have already undergone rigorous testing but that someone outside of the designer builds. So in truth, experimental airplanes are just about as safe as non-experimental.

So- where is the time travel part of the crash that makes it like Donnie Darko?
