Actually, if you've ever heard the guns on the Warthog that you've drawn there, they don't go pew pew pew. The're soo fast, it sounds like a massive fart in the sky. Actually, I first heard it when mountainbiking near an airforce test range outside Columbia SC.

So you have a sick fascination with the two most irrelevant armed services?

That noise is more like lasers in sci-fi movies. The Warthog/Thunderbolt has a massive Gatling. Probably could rip through some tanks.

Considering there is rarely a major operation that isn't heavily reliant on air support--especially in the preliminary stages, i think you know that you're talking out of your ass.

...Hooah!...

If you really want to see what the A10 can do, then google this:

Depleted uranium birth defects

My most favoriteist airplane ever. It's literally a flying tank designed to take out non-flying tanks (and just about everything else on the ground).

Someday, when the people of this fine Land come to the chilling revelation that they're being reduced to serf status, that's going to make for some fine "crowd control".

I'm a big fan of the amount of engineering that went into the A-10. Unlike the F-14(retired), 15 and 16 which are going to be replaced soon, there is no hard replacement for the A-10 because it was such a good design to begin with.

it falls right in with the likes of the MG42 for a hard to top design.
