Favorite short lived tv shows

Automan - total TRON ripoff, but cool

Firefly

Midnight Caller

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.

Sledge Hammer!

I'm sure there are more, yeah, I know, tv is garbage, I concur. I was a latch key kid, what can I say?

Wasn't there a show in the 80s that they actually cut off in the middle of the premier episode? Or, is that just urban legend?

"The Associates"

It lasted only one season, but had some good writing and a show-stealing performance by Wilfrid Hyde-White, an old school English actor who began his career in the 1930s and acted opposite Olivier, among others.

My absolute favorite show and quite possibly the greatest show to ever grace the airways of Nickelodeon: Pete and Pete. Too bad it only had three seasons (relatively short, yet enough to savor w/o fatigue) with the first two I have on DVD. The stuff they have on now is junk, just junk!

The Black Donnellys. I thought that show was going to be great. Kid from the Sandlot, kid from Sleepers, and that beautiful brunette. Too bad.
