Tell me about Ft. Collins

So, I had a good first interview today with a company in Fort Collins, CO. I've been to Denver many many times but I've not been to the Fort.

I'd love to have some info on what the area is like, the cycling, including nearby passes, the social life, and cost of living.

I'd really really appreciate it
Thanks!

I lived in Cheyenne for a while. Fort Collins was a lot more expensive, but man would it have been worth it. It was beautiful. The biking is great there. The weather is far better than Cheyenne. It's a fairly progressive part of the country which isn't good or bad, just worth mentioning.

I would rate it an A++,

I lived in Loveland for 19 years and went to school in Fort Collins. CSU is a cool place to hangout and there is great camping up the Poudre Valley. Horse tooth is fun to climb too. Fort Collins is the #2 place to live. Enjoy.

Skinny sucks....FUCU

FoCo is a cool place. The mountain biking could be better, but Boulder is just down the road. Lot of good road rides. It can be expensive, depending were you're coming from. It's a college town, so during the school year, the bars are always full. The culture is expanding, a lot of new programs are being set in place. I've lived here 24 years and could live here the rest of my life if I didn't have the itch...

Your turf? Don't you have a whole other thread on whether or not you should even have your turf?

True I suppose. You don't need to be dating someone if you're just hooking up

Who were you thinking of anyway?

Back to business, you bunch of pervs...

From rt 34 (in Loveland, just south of Ft Collins), take CR27 (Stove Prairie Rd) north for ~25 miles to rt 34. It pretty much takes you through the foothills just west of Ft Collins. Pristine riding around there IMO.
