    Seven Hundred BILLION Dollars

Not to interrupt your drunken/drug hazed college reverie, but since some of you might want friggin JOBS after you get over your hangovers, consider Bob Herbert's comments in this morning's NY Times:

    >>Does anyone think itís just a little weird to be stampeded into a $700 billion solution to the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression by the very people who brought us the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression?

    How about a second opinion?<<

    Uhhh........yeah.

I object. I am no longer in college. I have a decent paying job. I don't do drugs. And I am not currently drunk, and haven't been for months.

Glad to see that the American taxpayer has deep pockets. My super scheme may not go belly up thanks to you. It has been a good case of snouts deep in the trough for a long time and now the midden is starting to hit the windmill.

And in an election year too.

Funny that, I've just signed a six month contract for a new job.

I suspect, that as long as teh government keeps tweaking the various tax laws, there will always be some employment for me.
