The 2008 BF Witch Hunt

It's that time of year again. Time for the 2008 Bike Forums Witch Hunt. Your nominations for Witch Hunt Targets are being accepted. No more than three suggestions per member. Here are mine:

• botto

• The New York Mets

I'll come up with another, but those are my top 2.

Billy Buckner isn't a witch. He's a Patron Saint of NY baseball. St. Billy to you.

We in Boston loved him, too, until that moment. Time heals all wounds, though. Winning two World Series titles in 4 years didn't hurt, either. Everybody's happy now.

All of the mods who have Ryanf's head mounted on their walls. Sorry, that's probably more than three.

Incorrect. Shouldn't you be installing a helmet mirror or something?

You are essentially saying all BF Members are Witches.

I like your thinking on this subby.

The Boston bullpen already blew the save when he made this error. I don't understand why poor Buckner has been villified over the years. If he makes this play, the game would have been tied and the Red Sox would have likley blown the game anyway.

I know that and you know that, but who cares? Besides, Buckner probably makes a living showing up at baseball card shows and signing autographs all because of that one stupid play.

Please get back to identifying witches.

  1. Arsenal - because I just don't like them even if they weren't top of the league
  2. The Mets - just because.
I'd go on about Palin or some other person getting too much media time but I don't have the energy for all that.
