Yeah man. Have a seat on the sunken in couch. Or if you want, pull up a folding chair. You got any cold pizza, or anything to eat? Maybe a stale bag of Doritos?

In the last few years, Terry Brooks has started the Shannara books back up as well.

Just sayin.

Interesting...

Back in high school i was working for the maintenance department at school and was painting houses. I came across a bunch of old junk the previous tenants had left behind and found a beat up book from the Shannara series (The Elf Queen of Shannara i believe). It was one of the original hardcover copies i think but the cover was trashed and the edges had scribbles all over it. Fortunately later that school year i worked at a book bindery and had it rebound with a new cover and cleaned up for $7.

I read the original series in high school. I think you mean The Elf Stones of Shannara.

I did not know that. My uncle, God rest his soul, got me started on Terry Brooks back in the 80's. Must go to bookstore.

Did any of ya'll read the Dragonrider's of Pern series by McCaffrey?

I have the first 3 books in one cover as a trilogy.

I haven't read it yet

Nope, it was the Elf Queen (my memory was refreshed after checking wikipedia):

Must go to public library. Even better idea. Why do I always think of buying instead of borrowing?
