Welcome to the Cubic Zirconium Club!

The Club where cheapskates make snide comments about the Titanium club.

Titanium is just so...lance.

That's the adjective we use in the Zirc club for "lame."

So its replacing the red star membership already. Whats the fuss?

You or I have neither so why the fuss over the Titanium club when there wasn't a fuss over red stars?

Do you think everyone is going to go in there and leave you out?

Unlikely.

Right now there are 37 posts in the Titanium Club. I wonder if this thread can surpass it?

I think cro-mo is the sucks, damn rust magnets! I thought we were in the future with all our space age technology and materials

titanium doesn't rust, nor does it attract magnets
and it's non-toxic so I can totally rebuild my body with it should I break every bone in my body.

Actually, I just cut apart my water filter to see how gauge worked, and after some related reading, I've come to the conclusion that activated carbon is where it's at.

The unique property of activated carbon is its microporosity and resulting ridiculously high surface area. A gram of activated carbon has an estimate surface area of about 500 square meters...roughly two tennis courts.

So forget the cubic zirconium club. I'm heading over to the activated carbon club.
