oh great

my cell phone is giving me a blank white screen. I've tried hard booting it and am still getting the same results. It turns off and on, but all I have is this white screen.

Stupid cell phones.

Take out battery. Wait 30 sec, put battery back on. Try again.

the LCD screen connector probably has moisture on the contact points or it got knocked loose.

is the phone a 1piece or two piece?

It's an old razor. It seems to be working fine, after chucking it around and then turning off and back on

The drop test is one of the most effective electronic fixes out there, as you can see.

oh, razr

yeah, I saw the rise of, and consequential fall of them on the market.

durability isn't too good and battery life is poor.

I've had quite a few of the (due to changing of plans) and I've like them all. They still all are operational and have fine battery life. I just hate the bulky cell phones. Having something I can slip into my backpocket and forget about is a plus for me.

you should see my previous cell phone... if I could find that damn thing...

it got ran over by a car, got splattered with yogurt, a banana and dented from something else in the pannier when my pannier fell off my bike and it still worked after all that.

I have no clue what I am getting for my next phone, but I'm in no hurry until I'm out of college and get a job. I'd prefer a Windows Mobile phone and T-Mobile as a provider. However, since almost all app development for games and such has moved to the iPhone while being halted on every other platform, I may end up going that route.

The first Cell Phone I had was a Motorola StarTac. Lasted nearly five years. Everything after that, about 18 months.

I had a high end StarTac flip phone circa 2000 or so. After my experience with that, I am leery of anything from them.

I have a blackberry pearl.
Whatever you do, don't get one unless your hands are the size of a prepubescent girl's.
A real blackberry would have been ok, but pearl is just a PITA.

I should have gone on and thrown down on an iPhone.

To be fair, think of who owns this phone, the conversations it has heard and the pictures that it must have taken. The thing probably is trying to kill itself.
