I HATE eBay

well, I don't hate eBay.

I hate when there is 20 hours left in an auction and I'm deathly afraid of being outbid and I feel a need to obsessively check every 5 minutes.

I hate them since they have become so rabidly anti gun while at the same time having little to no understanding of firearms.

I had my account deleted, and I don't miss it.

I really don't do eBay much, I had my sister bid on something for me. I know she's really pissed off about some inability to leave feedback to sellers or something? What happened there?

Be VERY careful about sniper sites. I just don't trust third parties with my ebay credentials.

they changed the feedback rules recently

Sellers can no longer leave feedback for buyers - this was done, I believe, to encourage buyers to accurately zap bad sellers....previously they might not because they were afraid of vengeful return negatives from the seller. Of course, buyers can be just as bad - or worse - don't ask me how I know Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Also, you now only see the most recent feedback reflected at top of page (last 12 mos?)

I've noticed lots of bugs recently too....be slow and methodical when listing auctions, folks, i got reamed on one a week or two ago.

Ok, maybe not deathly

I prefer to do my sniping myself.

Better yet, the stealth approach and knife to the throat is so much more satisfying.

Ok, maybe I don't hate eBay. I got a great deal on a Garmin Edge 305 and it looks like it will be here in time for the Water Gap Gallop! I'm happy now
