Why are you still here TQ? Clinging to desperate hopes after your team lost to the pathetic Dodgers, who even though they won their division, featured a lousier W/L record than my own choker NY Mets?

I keep telling you the Cubs have been F-ing this up for 100 years. Soon to be 101.

Either that or we'll all just use you for a bike rack.

Didn't he steal that line from Bobby Knight?

And c'mon, man. It's the Cubs. They're supposed to break your fragile little Cub Fan heart. But suicide? That's just lame. You're supposed to just head to Murphy's or the Cubby Bear or Barleycorns and drown your sorrow in Steve Goodman's "A Dying Cub Fan's Last Request," which is the greatest baseball song of all time by a country mile.
Do they still play the blues in Chicago
When baseball season rolls around
When the snow melts away,
Do the Cubbies still play
In their ivy covered burial ground
When I was a boy they were my pride and joy
But now they only bring fatigue
To the home of the brave
The land of the free
And the doormat of the National League

Dammit, but this two year drought since a World Series Championship is killing my Cardinal Fan red blood.

This is why I'm hoping for a Tampa Bay v Milwaukee World Series.

So FOX can bemoan the poor ratings.

ESPN will still dedicate the first 10 minutes of every hour to the Red Sox, Yankees, and MannyBManny. That's just to be expected.

Catch a fair ball at Wrigley Field that would otherwise have ended the game. You'll have tons of people in line to do the deed for you.

Oh, and while baseball is not a sport.....Go Marlins.
