I like my gadgets.

I have... GPS, digital camera, electronic dictionary and several high power LED flashlights
I don't have a PPC, blackberry or iphone and my cell phone is the basicist most cheapest model in the lineup.

am I in?

For an engineer, I am really light on gadgets. Sure I named my car GPS buy my phone has a faster processor than the computer I am typing on. I still use a CRT tv and have no audio system.

Pocket protectors come from the days of fountain pens (which I used in school - ack) that used to leak. Engineers carried lots of pens, hence the pocket protectors prevented a lovely blue or black stain on the front pocket.

Do you have the female voice for your GPS? Do you carry on a conversation with it while you're driving?

My TV was built in 1996 and my iMac is my audio system.

My GPS does have a female voice and I call her Liz. She does most of the talking, I am a good listener. My TV might predate yours! The ipod shuffle is used purely for the gym and riding.

I got it for $55 a pair, but these things were selling around $80~100 when ARC closed shop and there was nothing comparable.

I wouldn't sell it even if I was offered $1000

No more guilt trips. No more telling me that he didn't like my parents. No more of him saying that he wants to argue with me so that I learn how to stand up for myself. No more of him saying "jump" and me saying "how high?"

Those are some things that I wanted to get off my chest.
