Where comes your screen name?

Screennames really have a history sometimes, don't they? I'm not talking about your hotmail or yahoo address because you probably didn't find your beloved username there to register and you ended up with something like yourusername5345345@hotmail.com. But we usually use our best preference in forums and such and they can sometimes mean something.

Well I know mine is a bit boring because it already comes from my name (and 85 comes from birthyear) but while patronizing internet communities, I really bumped into interesting usernames with interesting stories. For example I know a gal who uses his ex's real name as username and wanders around like that. Weird if you ask me. I also know another guy who googled a lot of uncommon words and choose the one which returned less results as his internet screen name! heh

Anyway what's it with you and your screen name? Share your story plz!!

Umm...well, The first time I ever got to choose my own username was when I signed up for America's Army. I just used the first thing that came into my mind, and it was Hickeydog. I dunno how I came up with that, but that's what I came up with and that's what I have been using ever since.

It's become my nickname. It came about when I was looking for a vanity plate for my motorcycle.

It was given to me by my wife and the grandkids, because I'm always wandering around the country on my motorcycle. My mcy plates are WNDERR.

Now you've made me think...damn!

I think the first e-mail address I've had was Pikachu001@hotmail.com. I created that when I was in 8th (?) grade and when the Pokemon rage was in, but it's (obviously) no longer in use. I have too many to count now (some of which are no longer in use, but are still active).

My first screen name, which I've discontinued (completely) maybe a few months ago was BaseballBiggie. I used to love baseball when I made that one (around the same time as the first e-mail), and I had to keep it up for people that still thought I was on there. I only have one right now, but I use AIM a lot less than I used to then.

The Texas Kid - a make believe "wild west" type gunslinger carrying two .45 long colts. But he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet. All the bad guys fear him!

I should probably put down the stratocaster and change my avatar to something more appropriate.

Mine came from being such a badass, one day when I was riding past Vanilla Ice, all he could think of to say was, "Word, biker."
