It's getting close.......

Christmas/Chanukah aka the gift giving season is just around the corner.

What have you told your S/O you want as the primary gift when the time comes.

and.......

do you expect to get it?

I don't have an S/O, so I don't need to worry about it. Besides, it's not even HALLOWEEN yet. Although, we broke the barrier of retailers being open on Turkey day last year, so I imagine the big retail season will start extra-early this year.

Time with family is what's important to me. Forget the gifts. Those are just things. As time goes on and people leave this world, time is more precious. At any time of the year.

Some one might want to tell my neighbors down the street its not even close to Christmas yet. They already light up the whole neighborhood with light with their 'icicles' and other christmas decorations. Admittedly, they have a blow-up pumpkin or two too, but its way too early for THAT many christmas decorations!

New counter tops for the kitchen. So, I can lay some coin down on a TT rig and not feel guilty.

I think Christmas is about manipulation, right?
