I used to have a problem...

... with procrastination, but today I overcame it.

Today at 4:30 pm local time was the deadline to turn in my change of address so that I could vote in November's election.

I am proud to announce that at 3:19 pm with an hour and twenty-one minutes to spare, I turned in my change of address form.

I am no longer a procrastinator.

Who else has risen above a personal challenge in order to become a better person?

Well, let's see... Here's a hint:

The first president I voted for was a peanut farmer.

I just registered in Texas this afternoon.

It means admitting to myself that I actually live here.

Sometimes that is the hardest part of voting...

I have been here since just after the last presidential election, and I am still not sure whether it is a red or a blue state... It made it hard to choose a wardrobe, until I decided to go with purple. And now I find out I am in a battle ground state, and I don't even own a gun.
