A few reasons why I'll never fork over $25 for Ti Membship...

baiting thread titles such as...

Nashbar/PB Coupons for Ti's here.

Since they can't come here, let's talk about the non ti members.

Lolly gaggle @ non Ti mems.

I rock.

add them when you see them...

Why not just start a thread entitled, "The Ti Club.".

Instant Ti Club.

You don't have your yellow jersey yet... It are probably undergoing the security checks necessary to make sure you are not just some idiot who managed to get $25...

Because I already paid Joe for my membership and I don't see paying extra to a $100 million dollar company for disenfranchising loyal members.

In the long line of pathetic things I have seen here at BF, the titanium club is by far the most pathetic. Never underestimate the need for people to feel like they belong to something exclusive, then again I did join the Marines.

Me too... as a pacifist who seriously considered burning his draft card, and did after joining.

I have never agreed with botto until now. Hell must be freezing over.

Seems to be just a group of people wanting to exclude someone else.

Internet Brands has to make money for their shareholders. Advertising dollars will be drying up during the upcoming recession, so guess how they're going to make up some of the difference Can't say I blame them. It's pretty difficult running a site when all the members are paid up for life for a mere $25.

I feel kind of bad for the pointed white hat thing I said, it should have been Titanium. Couldn't resist.

I can see the point of it to a certain degree but it just feels wrong and doesn't past the smell test for me. Let them have their fun, until they come to get me.

How about:

1. A total of 19 threads in three weeks or so;
2. No one ever actually seems to be posting anything there;
3. Foo isn't even as much fun as it used to be, so how is cutting the membership going to help?
4. I can think of a lot better things to do with $25
