you know what's sad?

no one cares about the second POTUS debate tonight....but last week everyone was all ga-ga over Palin

btw, include me in that ..... I am gonna watch at 9 but kinda don't care what happens ... unless there's a major major gaffe, not sure what it'll change.

I'll be watching. I'm curious to see if McCain will actually look at Obama.

Fresh material for Tina Fey is why everyone was so excited and Palin didn't disappoint.

I am so bored with debates. The only reason I was excited about the veep was the Katie Couric action from the previous week.

Bike Forums stinks for political chatter.

I'm following it elsewhere.

I cared for neither, so I'm not listening to or watching any of it. I consider the debates to lessen your knowledge of the truth.

"That one", really John, "that one"?

The VPOTUS debate had a larger train wreck potential.

I did not watched. I was busy being owned on Mech-Assault by my 8yo. But wife did (very strange thing, she actually cares).

I watched it. Every time McCain walked and moved, it was like he was doing the robot dance.

And he kept doing it in the background, while BO was speaking....I don't hate JM or anything, but he is really kinda odd...

the "that one" and some other comments were pretty snarky. Other than that negativity from JM and both guys' inability to answer the questions directly or stay within time limits, I thought they both did 'okay'.

I watched as much of the debate as I could stand. I cared. I don't care anymore. The country is obviously going down the crapper no matter who'll be President.

Anyhow, am I the only one on the planet who thinks Palin's HOT?

The country has been going down the crapper for some 15-20 years now, Americans were just to afaid/proud to admit it. and although I think shes nothing but a puppet, I also think shes got a few miles left on her I say shes do-able

I watched.

Nothing exciting, but I think they both embarrassed themselves.

Very few questions were answered directly.

The one that was answered in the time limit came with self-congratulations... but at least one was answered in the time limit

The general stimulus plans presented seemed unreasonable.

I'll cut taxes, and expand programs.

I'll buy everyone's house that has lost value at the higher price, and sell it back to them at the current lower price.

Really???? I am not an economist, but I don't see the possibility of either of these stopping a recession unless there is some new math somewhere that turns red ink into black ink.

Since when did a "debate" consist of completely dodging questions and rehashing talking points. Disappointing. Brokaw did okay, though...trying to get them to prioritize between enviro/healthcare/entitlements & asking if healthcare was a right/responsibility/etc. Also liked his question about who would you nominate as next Treasury Sec. You could see the relief on BO's face that McCain got blindsided with it first. A letdown, though, all around.

Heres a link to a film showing McCain just after GW paid for his bionic transplant surgery, but just before they placed human flesh over his new robotic frame. (They couldnt get his arms to go any higher though )

I think they should could slapped or maybe electrocuted every time they talk about the other candidate.

regarding the income tax situation, it seems it would be beneficial to put together a chart of 5 or so individuals/families/small business/corporations, plot their incomes along a timeline and then show their tax liability over the 4 years the candidate will be in office. McCain always talks about the tax cuts expiring and barack always has his spiel about not paying a cent more... whatever. Just show us the numbers.
