What's your personality type? Introvert/Extrovert?

I'm having this discussion on another board... 10 years ago, I was an INTJ, and I thought for sure I had changed--nope. I'm still an INTJ (according to the test, anyway ). For the most part, I love to go out, but I like to observe rather than strike up a conversation with a total stranger--depends on the person, though.

You can take the test here, though I'm not sure how accurate that one is, given it's not on a Jung/Myers-Briggs site.

Here are my results from another one a while back (last year). I guess we are similar. I jokingly call myself a hermit...my girlfriend says I'm not a hermit, just unsociable.

wow, I don't know what to make of this. I've never considered myself "judging". I always thought I was more toward the "introverted" side of things. I dunno, maybe I just suck at these tests.

Well i just retook the test twice...

I scored ISTJ and INTJ...

ISTJ:

Introverted - 100%
Sensing - 1%
Thinking - 62%
Judging - 22%

INTJ:

Introverted - 100%
Intuitive - 25%
Thinking - 62%
Judging - 22%

Some of the questions involving the Sensing/Intutive were kind of "well it depends..." answers, which kind of matches my INTJ personality.

yes indeed, some of those questions are vague and I in turn would have liked to ask the questionnaire what kind of situations it had in mind when asking them.

The one about the messy desk/workspace was one of them. Are they asking "messy while working, or before/after working?"

My workspace usually quickly devolves into a cluttered mess while i'm working, but when i'm done i always clean it up. (i.e. working on my bicycles)

Based on the results of two different leadership and executive development programs I have attended I'm an INTJ. At the time I was informed that very few people are INTJ's so what the significance of so many on this thread?

you've just found yourself in the darkest confines of the world, where we extrovert ourselves a bit more online than we normally would in real life.

actually, I think I have a mild case of schizophrenia... because I can be sociable with a different personality, even though I'd rather not be in that social gathering to begin with.

probably relates to me hating phones
