Has anyone made their own ghetto-fab(ricated) setup?
I'm thinking of using either a slew of disposable film cameras or shelling out the $$$ for a bunch of "inexpensive" $100 digital camcorders... The disposable cameras would be cheaper but then i'd have to devise a way to press 30-60 shutter release buttons all at the same time. The camcorders would be more expensive, but capturing a scene would be much much easier...
I was thinking of picking up afew of these and trying them out:
Disposables are the way to go.
Cut into the cases so you can get ahold of the shutter release leads, and connect them to cheap flash slaves (see below) to trigger the shutter. The flash slaves will eliminate the need of having to physically wire the cameras together to simultaneously synch the shot.
