1 more day until Intrepid Ibex

Anyone else planning on playing with it? I use the studio version of Gutsy with Ardour in my recording studio... My project this weekend will be to build up Ibex with Ardour on a newer box I have laying around.

Eh, no new improvements big enough for me to spend time upgrading yet.

I tend to stick with the LTS releases. One dist-upgrade a year is enough.

What, is nobody even curious anymore?

My file server still runs FC7 and until I have a damn good reason to change that, it will keep doing so. But, it's still fun to check out the new stuff.

I used to have upgrade fever, but it seems to have run its course...

Now, regardless of software, I only upgrade if there is a new feature that really jumps out at me, or it comes on new hardware I buy.

I hope they fix the problems in Hardy Heron.....I haven't had many problems, but I've heard nothing but people screaming about it.

I seem to be having fewer issues with Hefty Hippo than I did with Glib Gibbon. Then again, I have so few issues in general that it's almost hard to say.

I have spare machines but they are mostly all stone-age ones that wouldn't see any new features anyhow. My main machine has all my coding on it. Of course it's backed-up offsite but if something were to go wrong it's more a headache than it's worth, especially just for curiosity.

I would like to get at that bug (Thinking it's FF related) that makes my flash stop working after a period of time and leaving me with gray boxes.
