Holy crap!

I talked to ...her... today. It didn't affect me. Just something I had to do. I didn't feel miserable, I didn't feel sick, I got off the phone with her and felt just as happy as I did before I talked to her. What a great day!

Welcome to "moving on with life". Time does heal a lot.

Now that you're really over her you can move to San Diego.

We'll see. I'm meeting up with her tonight to get that stupid guitar back, and she wants the microwave back that she gave me, so whatever. I'm not dwelling on it.

Sounds good. Do the deal and never look back. The key phrase is NEVER LOOK BACK.

Move on man.

That's a good change. You're getting over and done and not dwelling on the past. Now you get to better yourself.

Bottom line , you will not get over her till you have a new girl . No matter what you tell foo or yourself. It's human nature . No shame in it.. I went through it myself. It's called the power of the kitty cat. And it's more powerful than u or I....

I disagree....happiest period of my life was when I first met/fell in love with my wife. BUT, second happiest was by far four blissful years single, just prior to that, after a gut-wrenching 2 yr breakup with HS gf.

I really loved being alone....had tons of friends, lots of fun, dated once in a blue moon, was too busy enjoying life.

but hey, everyone is different.....follow yer own path, grasshoppa

It has nothing to do with being alone. He is still infatuated with her and needs to find someone to realize she ain't the one. It may not be obvious to him that he still wants her. It is obvious to an outside observer.
