Feels like spring

Yeah. It's the first week of November. Yeah, it was snowing last week. But right now, it's close to 70 on campus. This is awesome. Awesome awesome awesome riding weather. There is a slight breeze to keep things moving. The sky is cloud-free. This is awesome.

I think I'll go for a 50 miler tonight. Should be fun.

But I'll bet that within the next 40 minutes, it's gonna start snowing. And then it's gonna get hot again. And then it's gonna snow.

Welcome to Ohio. If you don't like the weather. Wait 40 minutes. It'll change.

Sigh. It snowed on us last night. AND I got my usual snow-predicting migraine. And I have a midterm today for which I have not studied because of said migraine.

Stupid weather.

I'm hoping that I still look pathetic enough for a mercy grade... yesterday I scared a couple of people! Apparently my pupils were different sizes, I was pale as a ghost, and I failed to respond to their hellos. Oops. I was focused on getting to the bus stop without actually falling over or throwing up...

Maybe the migraines are because my brain is too big to fit in my skull?

wow - I'm in lala land - all these nice weather photos where the weather has extended into the NE - it really is awesome. I (grrr) left my most excellent headlamps at work and was quite disappointed when I had to re-leave my house and go down to the grocery store to make out a money order for this one dam company - knowing the full time that it's getting darker and I have a taillight - but nothing up front.

Rode safe - and out of the main stream of traffic roads (hard to do in a city btw) and managed to get almost home and traveled down my old home street and marveled at a well planned mtb guy with full lamps and getting ready to go down to the big off-road place (ill-legal at the moment - we're working on it) and he circled around and took off) - I finally found a safe space in traffic to get to the other side of the road and I almost rammed the another mtb with offroad light and camera set-up on his helmet. EFF!

I always travel with all my lights, but I took them off when I had to go park the bike in an inner city parking lot for a dental appointment. And so they are at freakin' work. grrrr. Don't like having that happen and being unprepared - and more importantly - being a hinderance to some guys, who I probably know, who are set up for off-roading/on-roading and I almost collide with them. not good
