Any VPN Widards out there ??

Edit: VPN wizards

Thought I'd steal a theme.....

I got a new Netgear Router and am having terrible response time connecting to work. I've fiddled with the MTU settings and currently have the router MTU and my laptop MTU at 1492. I keep getting hung and sometimes wait minutes for a response.

My regular internet browsing seems fine.

Thoughts ??

Has this happened recently, and have you always had trouble?
What's your connection?

I got a new router a couple of weeks ago, and that's when the problems started. It's a NetGear RangeMax WPN824.

I've tried various MTU settings 1500, 1492, 1468, 1430. Some are bad, some are worse
