    How can I scan this?

I got my MRI results and I wanna scan them to have the images in digital. I tried putting it on a flatbed scanner but all I get is a black image. Here's a pic so you could see what I'm talking about:

    Looks like a black image.

    Try a photo scanner.

You'll either need a large flatbed transparency scanner, or do as free_pizza says.

Ask the Dr's office if they can put them on a disc for you. My wife get's her MRI's on a disc, really pretty neat, you can zoom them or compare.

You need a scanner with a top light like a negative scanner. You may be able to make it work. open or take the lid off your scanner and find a cardboard box slightly bigger than the glass with the top and bottom cut off and tape it in place with a opaque tape like electrical tape or such. cover the top with thin paper to diffuse light then place a bright light above that. You may have to experiment with the height of the light and thickness of the paper to get it to diffuse evenly. You may even be able to omit the box and lay a thin sheet of paper on top of the mri and shine the light on it.

I didn't thought of using the camera instead of the scanner. It looks pretty well with a bulb behind it. The light is not even tho, but tomorrow I'll try on the window, using the Sun as light source. I'm gonna call the Doc first to see if they can put it on a disk. That would be a lot easier. But the camera with the light behind the negative works fine. Here's my spine BTW:

Looks kinda broken but I'm walking and all... can't wait for the doc to tell me the findings...

I think I would need to compare it to a "standard" spine. what happened? (did I miss a thread on it?)
i woke up one morning and i stepped out of bed | had to get a bike, had to paint it red

A few... here, here and here.

From what I've read it seems that my pinched nerves are the L4 and L5 groups. I'm quickly becoming and expert on spinal lingo...

Is very weird. When I ran out of medication on Monday, I felt like my toe bones were braking (and I've broken my toes before so I can compare). Sometimes it feels like I have my sock stock between my toes, but I have no socks on. Other times it feels like I'm stretching the muscles way too much. And yet, I scratch my leg and don't feel a thing.
