Santa got in trouble today.

Seriously.

I was driving along the highway this morning, when all of a sudden I see this car zoom right up behind me, on my tail. Being in Shorty, the guy was so close I could hardly see the top of his car. I maintained my speed of 70 and hoped the guy would get off of me.

He ended up going around me and as he passed I noticed that it was SANTA!! In an Infiniti Q45!! No, it wasn't red but Santa was decked out in full getup, red hat, full beard, rosy cheeks and the works. He even had his bag of toys in the back seat. I smiled big and waved furiously, thinking he might throw a glance my way. But he was steadfast, with both hands on the steering wheel, leaned forward just a tad. He sped off. I was thinking WTH??

Right behind him was CHP, full speed ahead, lights flashing.

Oh man. How are people gonna explain THAT to their kids?

And in other news, Santa was arrested trying to evade police. His bag of toys was taken as evidence..

I'm thinkin' that bag explains the gendarme's interest in Jolly Ol' St. Nick and his Rudolph-less sleigh.

Obviously an imposter Siu. Santa has a red Mercedes SLK, and a white Skyline. Wouldn't be caught dead in an Infiniti.

Can you imagine if kids saw the Po Po puttin' cuffs on Santa? They'll be thinking Santa won't be coming around.

Well at least in MY neighborhood.

When I was a kid a guy dressed as Santa robbed our local small town bank. The cops tracked him down in less than 2 hours.

Just because I don't want kids of my own, doesn't mean I like the idea of lying to children about a magical greed fairy for years until they find out the truth and realize that their parents aren't worthy of their trust.

At least 15 years ago at my grandparents house I saw this thing on TV where a guy dressed like Santa was mowing people down with an SMG. I always wondered what show or movie it was, but never could figure it out.

If lying about Santa is the worst thing I do to my kids, then they are getting off lucky.

Siu, please let us know ASAP where he is as I'll get the Strategic Homeland Invasion Team to spring him loose.

...besides, Santa may have that Titanium nose hair tweezer I've been asking for
